Where to start? This "café" must be avoided at any cost, the only positive point is the cleaness of the restrooms.

I, together with my beloved one, came there to have lunch by the end of july 2010. The menu was looking OK (average choices, expectable in a cafe in Paris, especially in a touristic spot), but the food itself was disgusting.

Basic things such as a "hamburger" with fries and a salad were not edible. The fries were fat (like sponges drenched in motor oil) and burned, the steak was raw with burned edges... The salad... I wonder what a laboratorium parasitic analysis would have shown to be alive in there.

To make everything worse, the waiters were unfriendly, more busy with themselves than with the customers. When the owner (or a friend of?!) appeared with his family, they suddenly came out of nowhere rushing being very agreeable to the man and his daughters (?). The fries and salads delivered to their table had quite different looks and colors..

In summary, just avoid this place.. My mistake as an expat (yet a parisian one!) was to think that this place would be OK... We just couldn't finish our "meals" and left to get a "brioche" a few meters further on.. Horrific.
