No one answers the phone, I have been given a reference number so I know they have the item, but not able to get through to anyone. So I registered my item as long, only to receive a reply to say they have nothing of that description. Totally useless.

After reading the comments of people here I think my comment will only make it worse...
I have tried to contact them but they were impolite and closed the line before I finished my questions. They know nothing, they can do nothing... they just wanted to close the conversation and go back to their research. As if they work in astronomy on an isolated mountain... Who could know if not them?
Orly airport needs "Lost and Found" department, it is useful and exists in almost all airports in developping countries.

What the heck is this non-existing service??
Lost & found is not a place for things but for apparently people: US!
And for the time being just LOST NOT FOUND!
As already mentioned, no way of contacting anyone by phone. All tel. numbers provided by other dept. are unavailable, all automatic answers are just in French; it does not seem an International Airport but a…

Lost my jacket on the flight form ORY to MAD. I have checked in Madrid but it is not there. Tried to check in ORY,but the office refuses to even look and confirm if the Jacket returned to ORY on the plane. Very poor. the guy could tell me why he would not help me but would not check to confirm that the item was not in thelost and found. Using silly rules to avoid customer service is unhelpful and ultimately more times consuming than actually doing the job of looking in the lost and found to see if it was there

there is no way of contacting lost property as they don't answer the phones. Pathetic for an international airport !

I left my iPad at the Terminal Sud security check. I called the main airport number and they gave me the Terminal Sud Lost and Found phone number and there is no answer! The same complaint as previous people on this site! There is ABSOLUTELY no way to contact ANYONE via phone about your lost items! You must fill out an online form so they can receive it and delete it so your item may never be seen again! There are no other contact numbers for this airport and no one cares about anything you say, you are just a number.

Réception des objets perdus Orly Sud est à hurler. Après maintes appels sans réponse, je demande si mon passeport à peut-être retrouvé. Réponse : nous on ne garde pas les passeports appelez la police, sans même me laisser le temps de poser une question, "l'aimable" individu me raccroche au nez.

Je tente de rappeler sans succès. Je tente d'appeler le numéro d'information générale, le numéro ne fonctionne pas. Idem pour la police.. On est vraiment à Paris en France en 2014????

Service inexistant! Pas de reponse aux apppels ou si par chance quelqu un decrochait, limite la pesonne nous insulte de les avoir derange dans leur travail?! Quelle honte pour l image de la France et PARIS. La mauvaise image du pays ne fait que se renforcer. J'ai eu affaire aux services similaires dans d'autres pays et il y a TOUJOURS quelqu un au bout de la ligne; professionel , aimable et enclin de chrcher les solutions.

Au lieu d'investir tout l'argent pour "l'embellissement" des aegrogares (= facon deguisé pour faire dépenser au maximum des sous aux voyageurs!),
voyez-votre politique de recrutment ainsi que les PROFILS de recrutement ou faites leur des formations CUSTOMER SERVICE!Ce n'est pas possible de rester aussi sauvage et archaique en 2014!

I have been trying to contact Lost & Found for over a week since July 6th 2014…..
No one answers the phone on either number!!!
Next step… Called the Paris Airports number.. they put me through to the same
number.. then it auto cuts off!!
Next step.. call the Police in Orly Airport..
I will keep you posted as I progress through this process...

I have called the "lost and found" office and asked to speak in english. The reply was that there wasn't anybody speaking in english, but only in french. This is not normal being Paris Orly an international airport!!

How long does it take to get to the South Terminal from West Terminal?
I arrive West terminal at 12 midday. My flight from South terminal is at 14:40. Check in closes at 13:30
