Le Pain de Sucre - Paris

Le Pain de Sucre is one of the best pastries in Paris as to date. Didier Marthray worked for the 3 Michelin star chef Pierre Gagnaire before to create this pastry and bakery in the Marais’ district. Thank’s to him.

Since then – 2004 already-  we are totally fans of :
“L’état de choc” (Biscuit Sacher almond and cocoa, crémeux praline- flavoured ice cream hazel nut, black chocolate..)
“Pirouette framboise”  (with almonds, pistachio, lemon yellow and  green, raspberry..)
And all cakes, breads and sandwiches..
But best is to make you your own idea while going on the spot…

Lovely shop, delicious bread (pain aux cereales) and incredible cakes. My favourite is the one with lemon. Waiting line at noon cause of great sandwiches!
