Le Verger de la Madeleine

Le Verger de la Madeleine has a long tradition of grands crus and rare vintages.

This wine shop founded in 1937 was repurchased lately by Gilles Mony, formerly sommelier to star Chef Marc Veyrat.

The stock is still there for the great pleasure of connoisseurs but Gilles Mony likes also to find small producers and young vignerons to provide its store: a chance for all of us!!

Wine and Spirits Shop in Paris: Le Verger de la Madeleine

If you want a wine, spirit or champagne to drink now, or one to drink 20 years from now, this is the shop for you! Gilles has a huge selection of old wines and spirits and what you see in the shop is just a small taste of what is in the caves below the shop. No matter your taste in wine or spirits, Gilles has it. I remember many calls from Gilles telling me of a special cask of ancient cognac, armanac or calvodos he had procured for bottling and would I like one? Our Christmas and New Years Sauternes all came from Le Verger de la Madeleine, our champagne magnums from Le Verger de la Madeleine. If you are in Paris, this is the one stop that will take you back in history you should not miss!
