Yes, there is a cash damage deposit which will need to be paid upon arrival at the apartment in Paris. Sometimes the deposit is required to be paid in cash and other times by credit card, please see your arrival instructions to find out about your apartment.

If the client cancels a fully paid reservation, there is a cancellation charge that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period. Please note that the 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable:

• 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount.
• 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount.
• Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount.
5. What happens if I break something?
Please call Friendly Rentals as soon as possible to assess the damage. We will do our best to try and fix or replace the item/s and reach a decision if whether there is any charge incurred.
6. When is check in or check out?
The apartment will be available at 3pm in the afternoon. Normal check out time is 11am. Please request late check out prior to arrival and we will try our best to accommodate to your needs. 7. How will I get the keys to the apartment?
Depending on the city of destination you will either be met at the apartment upon your arrival by a Friendly Rentals member of staff who will hand over the keys and also show you around the apartment or you will have to come to the Friendly Rentals office of that city to receive your keys and all required information.
8. Can I drink the water?
The tap water in Paris is clean and safe to drink throughout the city. However, some areas have a higher sodium content and may taste bitter to some. We generally recommend to stock up on bottled water for drinking at the local grocery store.
9. What if I need help or information during my stay?
There will be a Friendly Rentals member of staff available to answer any of your questions during business hours. Outside business hours, IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ONLY, guests will be provided with the emergency number at check-in.
10. Will I need an adaptor for using the appliances in the apartment?
For all appliances supplied in the apartments you will not need continental European adaptors. Hairdryers are supplied but to operate other bathroom appliances which you might bring on your travels like electric shavers, curling irons etc., you will need a continental European adaptor.
