A magic way to experience Versailles is on a bike, as you cruise through Versailles's cycle paths, royal forest trails, along the grand canal and to the doors of the amazing Palace.

After a short train ride from Paris you will collect the bikes with your guide by the train station. You will ride through the town of Versailles, stopping at the historic food market to collect your picnic supplies (own expense). You will then ride into the royal grounds of Versailles, hearing all the history and fun anecdotes. You will have experience the famous Royal Gardens, some of the most stunning gardens in the world. You will cycle to a picnic spot along Versailles' Grand Canal, with a great view of the palace in the background. After lunch, you will experience the rarely-seen Marie Antoinette hamlet, the queen's self-made village in the royal forests of Versailles. Your guide will then lead you back into town, where you will have free-time to explore the in famous palace at your own pace.
