This admission ticket does not provide access above the tower's 2nd level; if you want to go to the top, you can purchase a summit ticket from the ticket machine on the second floor (own expense; approx. 6.50€).

When you're ready to leave the Eiffel Tower, return to ground level and head to your evening illuminations cruise, which departs just a 5-minute walk from the base of the tower. You can hop on the boat for any departure; the frequency is either every 30 minutes or every 60 minutes, depending on the time of year. (Your ticket allows you to skip the line for the cruise and can be used at any time during your stay in Paris; it's valid for more than 3 months.)
