Perfume Creation Workshop in Paris
Become the perfumer's apprentice. Meet your professional perfume maker a stone's throw from the Opéra Garnier in the center of Paris and indulge in an unforgettable and fascinating censorial experience. Focus on the composition of a unique and personal scent, blending together aromatic notes, citrus notes and orange blossom.
Led by a perfume expert in a dedicated classroom in the museum, the workshop explores the history of perfumery and the origins of raw materials. You'll learn about the nine different essences used by the nose with its sensory and olfactory memory development. Learn the fragrance pyramid: head, heart and base notes, as well as all the steps to personalize your own Eau de Cologne.
At the end of the workshop, you will receive your 100ml customized bottle. The workshop is followed by a 20-minute guided tour of the museum outlining the origins of perfume and its development over three millennia. It features ancient and contemporary artifacts from the private collection of Jean-Francois Costa, grandson of Eugene Fuchs.
