L'atelier des Chefs is a French chain of cookery schools where you can expect a high standard of tuition. Choose from four different options — a 1-Hour Essentials Class where you’ll master the basics and create a main course and dessert suitable for any occasion, a 1.5-Hour Classic Menu Class where you’ll use seasonal produce to create a 3-course menu, a 2-Hour Chef's Table Class where the focus is on choosing the perfect seasonal produce to create delicious dishes, or a 2-Hour Technical Skills Class where you’ll master skills such as filleting fish, preparing sushi or preparing different types of dough — and then start your session with a look at the recipes you’ll be working on throughout the experience.

Listen carefully to the guidance of your chef and pick up clever tips and tricks as you go about different dishes, ingredients and cooking styles. Each of the classes have been carefully designed to offer something for all French cookery enthusiasts, although the longer 2-hour classes offer extra time to learn more complex recipes from your experienced chef. Each day’s itinerary is different to the last, but the exact details, dishes and recipes are provided on the day. Typically, ingredients include duck or lamb, fish, asparagus or regional vegetables; whatever the ingredients, enjoy the chance to experiment with expert guidance.
