Strong reds, blacks and whites dominate the color palette of the cancan — the lively, provocative dance that dominated the charismatic cabarets of 19th-century Paris. Use bold feathers and glittering sequins to create eye-popping accessories that cancan dancers once flaunted. Imagine yourself on stage at one of the traditional Parisian cabarets, ready for the evening’s performance!
Marie Antoinette Theme
Rewind 100 years before the cancan, and Paris was a very different scene. As Queen of France and a woman of great wealth and refined taste, no level of luxury or opulence was beyond Marie Antoinette, who ruled during the stately and decorative baroque era. Her eye for fashion and attention to detail ensured she stood out in the royal court. Choose from delicate lace, braids, shiny rhinestones and glittering beads to recreate Marie Antoinette’s regal grandeur in your own jewelry and accessories.
