Next to the Champs-Elysées, Savy is the oldest and one of the last typical bistro of the area.

Established in 1923 it is today a kind of time capsule with the same bistro décor and the same typical terroir cuisine. In this case a cuisine from the center of France with finest charcuterie, cheese and top Aubrac meat.

We enjoyed a perfect rib steak with marrow bone (26€).. Great wine selection..

Better book, always crowded..  Quite expensive but so French!!

we had a great time in this place, very parisian, specially hard to found in this area, typical french food in a authentic art deco restaurant, the wine list is great

Entrecôte poellee, os a la moelle. Just great eventhought very expensive. A true bistrot for me!
I love also Le Rubis for its authenticity.

I think this is the restaurant I went to in the early 80's. owned by parents & several children, including one son, who seemed to be 'in charge'. at the time, you had to order rack of lamb the day before you wanted it; as they then would purchase specifically for you for the following nights' dinner. can anyone tell me if this is the same place?
good!! really good!

Savy is so French, a bit hidden in a small street but in fact not far from Champs elysees or Grand Palais.
A great french bistro cuisine, enourmous pieces of meat with sauce and french fries good wine and cheeses. What else???
